General

• Always be your own character(s).
  
• Never control others characters.
  
• Always proof read your work before replying.
  
• Write in 3rd person... Instead of saying "I walked into the
  woods" Write "She walked into the woods".
  
  
• Try your best at writing in past tense.
  
• Swearing is allowed but don't take advantage of it.
  
• No killing off other characters unless you get permission.
  
• No abrieviations(lol, unless you type OOC aka out of character).
  
  
• Try to keep spelling mistakes to a minimum.
  
• Have repect for others.
  
• At the end of a Thread put END, just to let people know.
  
• Write atleast 100 words for each post.
  
• Yes, like most popular forums, there can be 'love' scenes but first please notify everyone in the post to tell them that there will be 'adultness' in the post.

Usernames vs. Display names

Your username can be anything you would like, we don't mind. This is the name you use when you register with us. Your display name is what people see when you are posting. We ask that you change this once you have registered to your character's first and last name.

To do this, click on profile then modify profile. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Please note*: Whatever you change your display name to, your username is still the same and used to log in.

Avatars and Signatures

All characters should have an avatar and signature. You will be prompted for your selection at the bottom of your application for your face claim. Once you have been accepted, your face claim will be added to the list.

There is, of course, situations where a character is unable to have an avatar. Contact admin about this situation.

Now, avatars can be a maximum of 130 px (w) x 205 px (h). Signatures can be a maximum of 431 px (w) x 251 px (h). The reason for the restriction is because people whom have dial up do not want to wait for large images to load.

Canon Characters

RE:FE has been arranged so that canons are available to be played as but not from the very start. You are able to unlock them.

Whoever would like to play as a canon will first need an original character along with ten (10) posts that have been created in THE WORLD threads. Once that has been established, contact Admin and explain that you will be applying for a canon. Once that is done, register as that character and fill out an application.

Once you have been accepted you will be placed in the Alternate Universe to play as that character. Reasons are explained HERE. Once you have proven that you can play said canon character you will be able to play as him/her wherever you would like!

Fight Scenes

Resident Evil has its fair share of fight scenes and we don't want to take that away do we? But of course we don't want to fight against someone that doesn't fight fair.

• NO GODMODDING Here is an example of a good piece: Jill fell to the ground losing grip of her gun. She hopped to her feet, grabbed her knife and dashed towards Wesker, her knife trained on Wesker's stomach.
  
  Bad piece: Jill fell to the ground, losing grip of her gun. As Wesker ran towards her, Jill grabbed Wesker and smashed him into the wall. Wesker screamed in pain.
  
  If you want your character to actually get hurt use what the other character has posted. For example:
  
  Jill: Jill fell to the ground losing grip of her gun. She hopped to her feet, grabbed her knife and dashed towards Wesker, her knife trained on Wesker's stomach.
  
  Wesker: Wesker dodged Jill's knife but accidentally cut his bare arm... ETC.
  
  
• No being invinsible. No one likes fight scenes with people that make their characters do everything perfectly. Let your character get knocked down, lose their weapon, get hurt. The special word is Bard.

Chatbox

• No Spamming. This is all forms of advertising. Links, selling a site or getting people interested in a site. We have an advertising section, please use that.
  

And the NO NOs

• Do Not disrespect the admins, mods, etc. you will get a warning.
  
• If you continue you get a three (3) day suspension.
  
• If you continue again you get a month suspension.
  
• And if you continue again you will be banned.
