The monsters have overtaken the city? No, been there, done that. Far from, really. Actually most cities are quite normal, well, except for those which have turned to wastelands because of the storms that have occurred thanks to the climate.
Day thirty has been just like day ten. Not much has happened but I did meet up with another wolf. I'm sure it was mutated. It fit the details Redfield described on his Africa trip. I sent a bullet to its head nonetheless but I find I am kicking myself because of it.
Ammo is running low and even though we don't have a Raccoon City incident on our hands ((zombie infested city) yet), I still don't want to get too accustomed to the city world unless absolutely necessary.
Snares and traps are the best way to catch food but I must remember to make sure the animals are not mutated. I haven't been able to decide whether they are Umbrella left overs or Optimus appetizers.
Umbrella is over with. Their last main facility was taken out by the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance. Sure, there are probably ex Umbrella employees wandering the streets but try putting that on your resume. Everyone knows what Umbrella was for the most part, but who wants to believe it is another story. Nonetheless, no one wants to take on Umbrella's left overs.
Maybe Optimus perhaps but they haven't taken any bad steps that the public knows about. I have even hacked into their systems and nothing to do with mutations or experiments have been sent out. Could they possibly be better than Umbrella? Or are they better at hiding their dirt? Maybe they will even have some good passwords too, not like Umbrella's highly genius 345.
That's beside the point though. I was a part of the Umbrella corporation once and I will always have that with me, but then again I also was one of the main people to take them down. This is no longer my story though. I did my part and now it's up to the rest of civilization to come to terms with what the world has been turning into.
There are only so many times I can say what Optimus could be up to before retreating from those sneering glares. People think I am crazy. Let them. I can only say so much.
I'm done. I live out in the wilderness as a paranoid idiot. I'm done. I am no longer in this fight. I did what I set out to do, which was to get rid of Umbrella. Someone else needs to step up to the plate and do what they can against Optimus and whoever else who is a threat.
I used to think once Umbrella was done and over with that the world would go back to normal, but as of late I had found that that is far from the truth.
It's not about me anymore. It's about those people in that city and the city next to it and the city next to it. Who are they?
Who will they be?
